Dr. Fred Childs
Fred and Monica were elected to serve as pastor on May 28, 2006. They have previously served churches in numerous roles including a 12 1/2 year pastorate in Del Rio, Texas. Other previous church staff positions included jail and prison ministry, youth ministry, and Assistant Pastor. Fred also served as Executive Pastor at Christian Life Center in Stockton, California with Pastor Kenneth Haney, and also as Administrator at Life Tabernacle in Houston, Texas with Pastors James and Jim Kilgore. He and Monica traveled exclusively from 1998 until 2006. They have ministered in hundreds of churches in the United States and abroad. Thousands of miracles and healings have occurred and continue to occur throughout their ministry. The Childs are available individually and jointly for keynote and conference speaking events, leadership and planning retreats, and other events upon request. Fred’s seasoned church experience is balanced by over twenty-five years of corporate management and executive experience. His background includes Senior Design Team Leader and Project Manager on engineering projects totaling billions of dollars. He has managed the Value Analysis/Value Engineering Div ision and the Continuous Improvement Division for a global manufacturing giant. Fred has led the training experience for over 2000 professional corporate teams. These teams have documented corporate savings totaling hundreds of mi llions of dollars and include thousands of process improvements. He served in Senior Management positions in several Fortune 200 Companies. Among other credentials, he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education, a Master’s Degree in Business Management, and a Ph.D in Leadership Administration. Monica has served many years in office and financial management. She serves as the Vice-President of Leadership Strategies International. She currently serves as a Director for Church Business Strategies, L.P., and a manager of the financial solution Gifting With Purpose.

| Sherrie Brimer Sherrie has been a part of Gracepoint since she was born. She has been an integral part of the church, formerly known as First United Pentecostal Church of Granite City, by being involved in such ministries as Sunday School (for over 15 years), choir and Vacation Bible School. She is currently active as a Sunday School teacher for the Beginners Kids Church and works with the media team and singles group. For the past five years her professional career at World Financial Group has taken off. She works as a Provisional Marketing Director and Sr. Loan Consultant and currently holds licensing in health and life insurance, Securities License Series 6 & 63, and IL Loan Originator. The most important aspect of her life is her two kids, Brianna and Timothy. She always has time for family and they enjoy various outdoor activities ie swimming and float trips. |

| Music/Worship Ministry | ||
| Kathy Hubbard Growing up Kathy always had a love for music and in 1989 she joined the church ministry team as music director and administrative secretary. She is also actively involved in the sign/drama team and singles group. Kathy has one son, Blake, who recently graduated from Indiana Bible College and also shares her passion for music. Outside of jamming with her son, she enjoys candy making, reading, and shopping. One of the highlights for the Granite City choir was to participating in the St. Louis area McDonald’s Gospelfest in 1998, where they place 4th in the competition. That opended the door for them to minister to many area churches. |

| Dave Anderson Dave and Paula Anderson have been involved with teaching for over 20 years. Bible study with the focus to bring individuals to a place of faith for salvation has been their passion. “Do you believe in Jesus” is a five week course that encourages individuals to diligently search for eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. | Media Minstry (Audio/Visual) | ||
| Heather Perry Heather has been actively involved with many areas of ministry during her twenty-seven years at Gracepoint. Over this time, she has participated in ministries including children’s church and Sunday school teacher, sign and drama team, and choir member. Currently Heather serves the church as a member of the praise team, working in the office as the church treasurer, and media team coordinator. In her leadership role with the media team, Heather is responsible for media presentation and training the visual media technicians. She also coordinates the entire audio/visual media schedule and plays a key role in process improvement for both the audio and visual areas of the media team In her professional life, Heather is a registered nurse. She graduated from SIUE with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in 2004. In her career as charge nurse, Heather coordinates and oversees the care of patients in a 23 bed labor and delivery unit, 6 bed triage unit, and 3 bed OR unit. |
